When coming home from the movies tonight, I decided to change my post.
I saw the movie “It’s Complicated” and I have to say that it’s the funniest movie I’ve seen in a long time. The rolling in the aisle kinda funny! I highly recommend it. Not just for the great acting and story line, which hits so close to home, but more importantly for the great decor. Ah, so inspiring, in fact, that was mostly what my girlfriends and me were talking about during the debrief.
It’s no surprise then that writer/director Nancy Meyers had a mother who was an interior designer. Her vision for creating what her audience wants to see, is transformed by production designer Jon Hutman and set decorator Beth Rubino. No wonder my other most favourite movies are The Holiday and Something’s Gotta Give! Nancy Meyers did these also. So without further adieu, I give you inspiring pictures…

Cheers!
I loved the movie and the house was amazing! Thanks for the inspiring pictures.
Did you notice the fabulous terracotta tiles on the roof. It felt positively mediterranean. The whole shabby chic atmosphere enveloped you in a softness that caressed and left you wanting more. I want to see the extension finished!
